About the Council
The Retooling and Economic Recovery Council (RERC) presented by Bruce Power is a temporary Council that has been created to ensure the stability, reliability and economic viability of the nuclear supply chain as a result of the COVID-19 global pandemic.
The Council will remain in place until the pandemic has ended and full economic recovery of the province of Ontario is well underway.
The mandate of the RERC is to advocate for the advancement of the nuclear sector through informed public policies that create jobs, ensure the reliability of Ontario’s energy system and medical isotopes that keep the world healthy.

Join the Council
The RERC is composed of a diverse range of organizations from across the nuclear sector. All nuclear supply chain companies and utilities are encouraged to join.
Members will have the opportunity to pursue a shared agenda for the nuclear sector through organized advocacy, regular meetings and communication, direct policy outreach, and issue-specific engagement.
Over the course of the pandemic we will be profiling stories from our council members. Please share your stories with us!
